Story
UPDATE: So far we have raised approx $12,500 including funds not donated through this site! Thank you for your support!
Bec and Peta have decided to set some goals in 2011 and climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, in February, 2012, in support of Cure Cancer Australia.
The charity funds young, innovative researchers who are sitting on breakthroughs in Cancer treatments, but are simply lacking funds to do so. Without the financial support of Cure Cancer Australia, the cure that may save the life of someone close to you may not be found.
We have committed to raising at least $17,000 before we go anywhere near Mount Kilimanjaro in February, so we're sure you appreciate the many challenges we have set ourselves! But these challenges are nothing compared with the challenges facing those living with cancer.
