I have undertaken to raise funds for Cure Cancer Australia Foundation by participating in one of "Inspired Adventures" challenge events.

The Climb For a Cure-Kilimanjaro Challenge

As a child my father took us on many adventures. For awhile we  lived in a town called Moshi Tanzania(east Africa) on the foot hills of Kilimanjaro. It is the highest mountain in Africa. My family and I would sometimes have outings part way up the mountain.

Now as a 45 year old I am training to get to the top!

For over 44 years Cure Cancer Australia Foundation has provided project grant funding for young innovative Australian Scientists to support their quest to cure this terrible disease.

As an aged care nurse I witness the devastating effects this disease has on my patients and their families. I'm often frustrated that I can't do more.

Now I can with your help!
